Psythik@lemmy.world 4 days agoI rather be a Boomer than be foolish enough to pay $60 every year for the same exact game. Pokémon has changed so little that I could pick up a modern title 20 years after playing my last one and still know exactly how the game mechanics work with no tutorial.

As a former die-hard pokemon fan, i wished the games would be exactly the same. Peaking in 5th gen, the games first slowly got worse and on Switch the series got more terrible with every entry. Very disappointing to me and many like me. I basically just want a polished game thst plays like Emerald/Platinum/Black with new Pokémon and a new story.
