steeznson@lemmy.world 10 months agoTotally agree with you. I think society/politics has become polarised to the extent that we’ve all grown colder towards perceived “enemies”; at the same time people shouldn’t be victim blamed for abuse, no matter how dumb they are.
Additionally, what we perceive as “dumb” can sometimes be other people struggling with mental illness or disability.

The bottom line is that people are accountable for their own actions and not the actions of others, and that’s exactly how it should be.
