Generally, it is set and forget. I keep it at setting 3 (out of 5). I pretty much do this with all my adjustables. However, in the past when I’ve done 3-pass shaves, I have used more aggressive settings for the first pass. For me, this really isn’t necessary, though.

Same. I used to fiddle around with the settings in the beginning (what have an adjustable and not adjust it, after all?).
Now I just have a favourite setting 🙂
