Firewatch was the biggest disappointment for me because the big mystery they hype up for most of the game just ended up being a nothing burger.

It was incredibly enjoyable for me exactly because I didn’t fall for that “big mystery” hook. Also no, it’s not a nothingburger for any of the characters involved.
