Dude, I don’t care either. I’m using it in jest. I think it’s dumb that we’re letting a holy war take up so much of our attention. Whether we like it or not, it is a holy war, and that’s the problem.

    Because the west is directly supporting the genocide that israel is committing and is literally sending Israel bombs to bomb Palestinian kids with.
    
    The open air prison israel created is just too stupidly cartoonist evil to look past. The parallels to 1940s are so extreme.
    
    Also Saudi calmed their Yemen genocide recently, there should be a truce now.

    Because israel tried to pull a ukraine and it backfired? Because hamas forced the global spotlight on its situation by attacking a semi international event? Because its one sided genocide of an unrelated party while pretending to be a fight with a different party? Because its a decades old problem that has been on the news once a week for most of your life, and its coming to a violent climax?

    I think it’s the “banana republic” idea all over again. Some countries are just a mess: violent, corrupt poor, but it doesn’t affect us nor is there a way for us to affect it. Israel is a modern, developed country, a democracy, it’s capitalist, one of us, like anything in Western Europe. Shit like this doesn’t happen
