3 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
It has been a long time since I timed a “normal” shave; one where I don’t rush and enjoy the shaving experience. 21 minutes. Brush soak time is not included. Timing started when I unscrewed the soap lid, included all three passes, thoroughly drying the razor, rinsing and drying the brush, and cleaning and drying the area around the sink. I typically allot about 20 minutes for this activity but I haven’t paid attention in a long while. Given that all this fits with my normal daily schedule, I probably won’t time this activity again for a long while.
The new brush is breaking in well. Still stiff, but certainly manageable. I did not notice any animalic smell today.
