Comment on After a lengthy legal battle and billion-dollar loss, 'Fortnite' is back on iOS
w8ghT@lemy.nl 1 day ago“Skins are not the point of fortnite” You’re absolutely right. The point of fortnite is to make (BILLIONS) a Season and 37 Seasons later @ 40 BILLION DOLLARS and counting gives these EVIL Companies no incentive to produce legitimate products.
Gone are the days were Companies actually made (Good Honest Video Games). Now companies hire behavioralists/psychologists to manipulate kids and casuals alike into spending, Not Playing. Not only that Fortnite extorts their payer base as well, which lead to a Lawsuit by the FTC:
(Epic had to pay more than half a billion dollars for criminal behaviour)

(privacy violations, dark patterns and unwanted charges, especially targeting kids and teens).
So (Not So) Epic “Games” are not “epic” at all! And companies like this are a poor representation of what our Gaming Hobby use to be. These are no longer Video Games. They’re Applications designed to Rob & psychologically manipulate the unsuspecting youth/ casuals into a (ENDLESS Pit Of PROFIT). Don’t shoot the messenger all of this is well documented… Look it up!

“Fortnite generates significant revenue each season, with estimates suggesting it can earn hundreds of millions of dollars monthly, contributing to over $20 billion in revenue for 2022 alone.”
(Fornite double helix skin worth $10,314)
