• Some HDDs also have TRIM, albeit rarely. CrystalDiskInfo will list it if it does.
• R-Photo is free from what I’ve seen, and would work well in this situation due to the folder just consisting of photos.
• AFAIK Disk Drill is free up to 500mb recovered
