I’m always amazed by how differently human tastes work. A cold can of Dr. Pepper is an absolute delight in my mind, a rare treat since I try to avoid drinking sweetened sodas.
But I know not only can humans differ in our enjoyment of the exact same experience, we may very well be experiencing them differently. Like how I despise cilantro and my wife loves it. Or how I can’t drink 80% of the craft beers in my area because something in the heavily hopped IPAs doesn’t hit my taste buds right, but my brothers-in-law can’t get enough.

Raw I generally say no. I really need to be in the right mood or they need to be very sparing. Powerful flavor.
But if you cook ‘em I’m generally on board. Especially if they’re pressed into a burger patty, like a patty melt. Mmmmmmm.
