Nuclear is actually a great option, especially if they build recent generation reactors that can run off of spent fuel from earlier generation reactors.
Current nuclear fission tech is way safer and less polluting than the stuff we built in the past, and even the old stuff produced less radioactive waste than coal.

i’m in favor of nuclear replacing coal. my problem is with leaving the coal in place to build nuclear to power the torment nexus
