I had the same feeling. It was an elitist response that did nothing to educate or inform me or anybody else lol. I don’t even care about movies that much, and that guy is expecting me to trudge through the muddy valleys and icy peaks of uptight counter-culture cinema to seek out and pull “good” movies from the depths of the unknown?
That’s fine–ill just keep listening to my music and appreciating still art as I’ve been doing for the last 20+ years of my adult life.
