      Israel is not an empire. It is not disintegrating into constituent nations. You specifically envison the Jewish people losing sovereignty. And the people running things now want them all dead.

        Israel is a state. The Ottoman Empire was a state. The USSR was a state. Dissolving a state does not equate to killing all the people living in the state. States and people are not the same thing. No one but you is talking about killing all Jews.

        Here you go again conflating Zionism and Judaism. No, we’re talking about Israel losing sovereignty, because they’ve been using that sovereignty to commit genocide. I neither oppose nor support a Jewish state on its own. I don’t actually care one way or the other. It’s Israel’s genocide that is the reason for my opposition to them.

        And the people running things now want them all dead.

        You’re thinking of Israel, the state actively conducting a genocide against the Palestinian people.
