This is very well put. Sometimes it can be fun to hang out with the current gen teenagers just to make fun of eachother and laugh at the differences in our generations, but also to gain some respect for eachother too. But why would any adult want to date somebody whose biggest life issues are high school grades and part time jobs? They’re not even old enough to vote or be concerned about living costs or adult problems. This isn’t saying that their current problems aren’t big deals - in the scope of things, they are completely valid and big concerns - but when you enter adulthood, you have bigger things to worry about.
