Seemed interesting until I was shown a moronic, fear-mongering prepper ad by the video sponsor to buy a gas mask for a secret cataclysmic event the mainstream media is “trying to hide from us”. No video is worth that pathetic garbage.

That does sound like garbage but why are you watching ads in the first place? Ublock Origin exists and is just a simple browser extension. Bam no more ads, even for stupid gas masks.
