  It can also be conditioning - like, I think that people develop foot fetishes and other sexual paraphilias through weird childhood circumstances that dramatically alter their normal interactions with others.

    I am doubtful of that. Its what the wokesters say -beauty is a 'cultural' concept. I think sex is too biologically deep and is pure instinct

    There are all kinds of sex fetishes, right ? Some people like to be choked to death or cut themselves. Maybe fatty obsession is one of those things

      I think culture can somewhat influence it. But it influences it like this:

      7 in 10 Brazilian guys prefer big butts over big breasts.

      ... But 7 in 10 Russian men prefer big breasts over big butts!

      (And both parties like both. They just have a preference.)

      There's nothing that turns ugliness into beauty and vice versa.

        Its DNA. Brazillians have a large african population from the slave trade. African men like 'huge' obese women. Why ? Starvation was rampant in Africa. Most Africans were skin and bones till recently.

        Russians prefer slender girls. If boobs or butts are over a certain size, the girl is considered fat. My African friends are all with overweight girls in their 40s, who have given birth multiple times. The guys are in their 20s. They told me their fantasies

        BTW, I live in a slavic country with a large population of Russians/Ukrainians/Belarusians. All their girls try to stay super slim. African ladies not so much, lol
