  His interaction and writing style is easy to recognize, under a previous username he boasted about having dozens of accounts and using them to flood/control narratives, and he posts literally identical links seconds apart under different accounts - easy to recognize.

    So if I am understanding your logic correctly you believe this is the same guy behind this account as “many others”. And your proof is that they have the same writing style?

      Thank you! I was reading that posters comments and was just scratching my head trying to find out what I posted that they misunderstood. I felt like I was watching them have a totally different conversation than what I was seeing in the thread. So I don’t know if they are talking about posts on here that I can’t see because of blocking or whatever.

      But yikes. What the heck? Same writing style? What does that even mean? lol

      They said multiple accounts with exact same links, but when I posted the article here, there was no mention that is has been posted here before, so I’m totally confused. lol Are there multiple articles here by different posters?! I’m not seeing that. Maybe I have some instance blocked or something?

    And for the record, even tho I DON’T have multiple accounts, there is nothing on Lemmy that says it’s against the rules to have as many accounts as you want.

  This isn’t about having a different opinion though, if that were the case then the people who hold these “opinions” could at least occasionally back them up with a reason, or some ideological framework from which these opinions are produced. But there never seems to be any actual reasoning behind these various opinions. The card says moops

      I wasn’t talking about you specifically, but you’re absolutely right, you don’t have to justify anything.

      At the same time, there is no lemmy rule that people can’t ask you why did you post this article? Do you agree/disagree? Is this your opinion and if so how do you come to that conclusion?

      And if you can’t or won’t answer, if you don’t discuss topics you bring up in a discussion area, then people are going to conclude you’re not actually here to “express your opinion”, but for some other reason.

        Of course people can ask. Just don’t expect it. Because there are many many people that post articles who don’t discuss them at all.

        And if you can’t or won’t answer, if you don’t discuss topics you bring up in a discussion area, then people are going to conclude you’re not actually here to “express your opinion”, but for some other reason.

  I don’t. And that posters crazed response was what I’m talking about. Many posters on Lemmy get so enraged coming across a different political opinion that they start pointing the finger and anyone who disagrees with them and makes up some grand conspiracy of vast spy operations, multiple accounts, bots, etc. It’s fucking weird! lmao

  Feel free to look at my post history. It’s public. I don’t post 50 times a day. I legit have no idea what that poster is going on about. It’s great that they proved my example to you about people like that though. Now you know…lol

  I did realize certain articles posted to conservative communities get down voted to oblivion while the same article on a news community will get hundreds of up votes.

  Yep. I have been banned from communities just because I post in this community. I’ve had science articles from AP News downvoted simply because they look at my post history and see that I have posted links to conservative articles. It’s crazy.

  But don’t let that turn you off of Lemmy. I love Lemmy and I’ll never leave. But many here can be um, pretty passionate, about things and actually stalk your posts. lol

  What makes you think OP is operating several accounts? Why flood such dead communities?

  I asked that poster the same thing. Not only that, but I’m posting conservatie articles to conservative communties. How is that “flooding” Lemmy?!

  Not only that, you can just “block” a community and you’ll never see the posts there. So why doesn’t that poster just block conservative communities?! I’ve never posted my articles to a community that didn’t fit the communities theme/guidelines.

  Again, don’t let postes like that turn you off of Lemmy. You can also just block individual posters and never see their posts as well.

  The only way people like that are seeing my articles is by purposely not blocking me or conservative-themed communities.

  They seem to like to be upset. Very strange.
