I don’t have the patience right now to analyze the meta-analysis, but many times they’re really not conducted properly, and can be heavily biased. Even without the authors seeing it.

There is literally a big button on the menu called “Research”. Clicking it leads to several scientific articles. One of which is:
From the abstract:
Consumption [of pornography] was associated with sexual aggression in the United States and internationally, among males and females, and in cross-sectional and longitudinal studies.
Oh, and here is more.
So the science that he was referencing is illegitimate, because why, it disagrees with your inverted desires?
Furthermore, in his book, he cites multiple anecdotes from porn consumers. These are valuable in and of themselves.
according to his bio he refused to allow himself to have an orgasm even when he had sex with his wife lol Gary Wilson was mentally ill and all of his theories seem to be centered around a bizarre delusion he had that men should never experience pleasure
See, this is how I know that you are disingenuous. Not only did you ignore the plentiful resources that the website I linked to had to offer, but you also went straight to attacking the person running the site and straw-manning him.
If anything the link you shared has convinced me even more that pornography is healthy and perfectly normal when used in moderation.
It’s a drug. The “use in moderation” argument is going out the window.

I don’t really have an opinion on this but I’m just gonna say that about that association between porn consumption and aggression, it doesn’t seem like they’ve found a casual relationship, just a correlation. Could be that people who are inclined to sexual aggression (or verbal aggression, as they say in the abstract is more strongly associated) are just more likely to consume porn.

Look, you are right.
It is a red flag though. And as I pointed out to him, there are many anecdotes speaking of porn being harmful. He ignored those red flags and went with the usual line of “it’s perfectly normal in moderation”, which I’m arguing is the wrong attitude to have given what we are seeing.
