Comment on AMC Theatres Is Having Regrets About Caving to Studios
reddig33@lemmy.world 3 weeks agoThey’re losing out because the studios and the streaming channels, not the theaters. They make more profit by sending the movie out of the theater and onto their channels as soon as possible.

That’s what I never understand. They people are already subscribed to the streaming service. Why not squeeze the extra money through theatres as long as possible?
