The White House released a Presidential statement listing a list of NIH research papers relating to hormone treatments and mice, totalling $8.2M in grants. They’re calling it “to make mice transgender” and that has literally nothing to do with what the papers are doing.

One, for example, was testing how testosterone treatments affect HIV immune response (very important for anyone with HIV who also needs additional testosterone).
