You know what, if that is how you feel, fair enough actually. I just don’t think that’s how your former and current governments, including Trump, really feel about it.

Well of course it’s just my opinion. I think it is pretty clear we disagree, no point arguing that. Just wanted to let you know my perspective, since that seems to be allowed here instead of being an echo chamber, which I respect.
