Yeah, I never really got why everyone jumped at Kanye for that in particular. The response to Katrina was ridiculous and there were plenty of instances where black people were left to fend for themselves, or worse, accused of ‘looting’ when they tried to go out and find food in stores that closed down.

Obviously, everything that happened after is indefensible.
