Comment on Marvel Rivals Version 20250214 Patch Notes - Steam News (February 12, 2025)

To be fair, it is kind of odd to post patch notes. All sorts of games get new patches all the time. If people start making a habit of posting every set of patch notes for the games that they play, it’d very quickly become a substantial portion of the posts here.

Personally, if people were regularly spamming patch notes I’d probably eventually either block the community or block the poster.

Why do people click the post if they are not interested? The title says it all. And I don’t post update notes usually, its probably my first time here. I posted this because of some noteworthy thing about supporting a specific Linux distribution, as explained in my post.

That is a much more reasonable take, for sure. I would do the same, and probably go one step further and ask mods to step in.

In this case I don’t think OP is spamming patch notes, they just found this on interesting.

  This is actually why I stopped using Startrek.website, though. One of their mods posts constant updates about STO. Honestly, I’m pretty sure he’s employed by STO.
