“Culture” , at this point and a long time ago is not about a culture, it’s just what it makes money … ironically is ruining the industry and less people want to watch Hollywood

Then it seems like a self-correcting problem then.
If fewer people are interested in that kind of content then the studios won’t make it. Problem (assuming they’re even is one) solved.

This is mostly what we tend to think, but even if it sounds strange, consumption is not always driven by the people, the companies force the people to consume and population adopts it. It happened with several cases for example in food industry. The current producers, the people who have the money, investors, don’t give a single f of what cinema represents. And also lobbism . The history behind it, the powerful values of it, how strong it communicates culture… and all the brilliant stories that came from it.

I take issue with the idea that I’m going to watch a film just because it’s available.
EG I’ve not watched any of the numerous and terrible destination films. If there is nothing good to watch then I just won’t go.
With food I kind of have to eat though.
