Comment on Canon-friendly Klingon flags that I can fly publicly?
mycatiskai@lemmy.one 1 year agoThe Cardassians are the literal fascists of the Star Trek universe. Might not be good to associate with the species that is intensely nationalistic while you live in a country that has laws against displaying fascist symbols.

@mycatiskai @startrek I’ve always been uncomfortable with how much Star Wars fandom has embraced the iconography of the Empire.

Was recently at Disney world and in the Star Wars area there was only one small store with only Empire/First Order stuff and dozen or so places with 90% Rebel Alliance.
I don’t think there is much ambiguity in Star wars that the Empire/First Order is the bad guys and have no redeeming qualities
