Comment on low spec gaming looking pretty sunny right now gang
NaibofTabr@infosec.pub 4 days agoIs it possible that some of the discomfort comes from trying to use controls that are too small?
I also have big hands, and I find the Switch controllers uncomfortable because they feel like they were meant for baby hands, and they’re flat so it’s an effort to keep hold of them. I find the Deck very easy to hold because its grips are built like a proper controller and all the buttons are within comfortable reach. The ergonomics make a big difference.
Valve put a lot of design effort into the form of the Deck:

That’s very interesting. I’m not sure, to be honest.
I had assumed it was the weight as it feels heavy after a while. But it could be due to the lack of a secure grip with the joycons. I know the 3ds had similar issues where, after a while, it didn’t feel comfortable either. But I felt like I could use it much longer.
I didn’t realize valve went through so many iterations. That’s a really cool image. I’ll have to see if I can find better shaped joycons when the switch 2 releases and see it that helps
