I appreciate where you're coming from and I completely understand your position. But I fear it is inherently incompatible with free speech. The solution to ignorance isn't censorship. I'm seeing a lot of the mistakes Ruqqus and other platforms have made now being made here. I also appreciate the unban and the apology, but if I didn't know Wiggle we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

The kind of people you are trying to attract don't care if you denounce racism and Nazis on your homepage. To them, we are all of us Nazis just for participating on the platform at all.

Anyway you were right earlier - I am not part of this community so maybe my opinion shouldn't matter. Maybe there are a ton of potential users who are okay with a central authority deciding what constitutes hate and racism. Maybe wolfballers(?) don't care about the new rules and if that's the case who am I to try and change them. Maybe people don't really want free speech.

I do. But I'm just an internet nomad looking for a home. I know there are fellow ruqqies here so I feel compelled to speak up when I see the warning signs.
