TachyonTele@lemm.ee 1 year agoI can’t believe that was ever real. I saw the movie and there’s just no way they animated all of that with such a horrible design, and then went back and redid everything.
He’s in almost every shot of the film.

I mean, it’s not like they manually sculpted him every scene. They probably referenced a 3D model file. Swap that out and do some touch ups and you’re golden

The whole rig had to have been different. The shape of everything from the eyes to mouth nose and ears were different spots. All the shadows would be different too. Thats a lot of reprocessing.
If they really did go back change it, they did a damn good job.
